Sunroof vanity clips
I just bought my 01' v70xc and when i bought it, the vanity clips in the sunroof were broken. I've looked online and can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas because my next option was going to a junk yard and ripping them out of a totalled one.

What's a vanity clip?

the bellows on the sides are called vanity shields so I think he means the little metal clips that hold these bellows in place, no?

Yes, its a piece of plastic folded like an accordian, and they have snapped. They keep the sunroof in one place and now it rattles every bumpy. Very annoying. Any ideas?

Ahhh OK, some minor confusion points. Those accordion pieces that are cracked are vanity shields - they keep weather out from the sides. There are little metal clips that hold those in place. Those expandable accordion pieces (I call them bellows which isnt technically accurate either) crack.
Don't bother getting used ones from a salvage car/yard - the age will cause the used ones to break soon too. They are not expensive and can be put on rather easily.
I just replaced one last weekend on my 2001 S60. They snap down into place. The broken one is harder to get out because of a tab that locks it into the rail.
The rattling you hear is not from this, however. There are two large Torx screws on either side. These probably came loose. Open the sunroof and look for the Torx screws and tighten them. They should be the screws behind these shields, that screw sideways into the roof. They come loose.

You were exactly right. The back right torx screw isn't threading so i think i'll take the sunroof apart tomorrow and see whats going on. Any ideas on why that is? Where did you find those bellows at? i cannot find a website that sells them. Thanks for all your help!

For the sake of sounding obvious, buy new ones?

So this morning i tried to tighten down those torx screws and one still wasn't threading. So i decided to take the glass off and found that where the torx screws screw into are loose. Are they suppose to be loose? the back right passenger side is still loose and i have my rattle still.
