Drivers window issue

Good day all
I thought i would share my experience with you regarding my driver window mechanism. The other day when I put my window up it went skew and almost fell out. When i took the door panel off inspect, the window mechanism has broken. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be the "semi arch" with teeth that align the two arms to push/pull the window. So i repaired the one side and put everything back. A few days later the other side of the semi arch broke and again the window fell through but this time cracked the entire window. It is lamited glass so has not broken but has cracks everywhere and I feear in time it will break completely.
It seems that the spot welds on the semi arch do come loose eventually and this causes the mechanism to fail. So I am off to buy a second hand mechinsm and window but I am going to maybe just re enforce the spot welds on the mechanism to ensure that this does not happen again

Sounds like a normal window regulator failure...Really not all that uncommon on any make or model car...
