Greetings all,
Hope you can all help. Can the 2005 car take 2007 series disks? I have only had the European DVD of 2005 vintage in the car. The disks did not do an update to the system, as the book said it might. The screen only went to the "splah screen" and blinked off after about 10 seconds and cycled after that. It never went to program nor map. Would the dealer have an update to be installed? I had the car in for service 6 months ago, they never said it needed any updates??

The 2007 discs should load.
The upgrade of that is only accomplished by the dvd set.
Dealers do not usually offer the upgrade as it would be done by you buying the discs and then paying them for the time for a tech to insert and exchange dics as the update progresses.
