Starting recently, When shifting from drive to reverse or vice versa, I'll hear a series of small clicks. like 3 or 4, seeming to come from the transmission. I'll also hear this if I hit the gas from a stop and then let off. It will click a few times when I take off, then the same when I let off. I only notice it in the parking lot, not sure if it happens on the road due to it's low noise.
Just replaced front struts, spring seats, control arms, inner/outer tierods, pass. side axle and driver side hub.
I also replaced the lower right engine mount and upper torque bushing last week.
I heard there is a pin that holds the transmission in. Might this be the issue?
Transmissions are one of the few things iv'e never touched, so I'd like any advice before I decide to drop it and take a look.

I have same click as you describe despite having different car. I'd like to know what you determine is the root cause. In the meantime I'm troubleshooting the 2nd-3rd gear shift slip (like the torque converter gets the signal to let go, then re-engages) . I've done the drain/fill 2 x to no avail.
