New Radio For 2000 Volvo S40

I was thinking about buying an iPod adapter to plug into the CD Changer port of my factory SC-816, but when I saw the prices I am beginning to think that I might just get a new radio. The problem I am running into is that every website I go to does not list any compatible Double-Din radios. On each one it says that it will not fit. Is this correct? Is the SC-816 not a standard Double-Din size?
