Radio and RTI stops ???

Radio and RTI stops ???

In my XC90 from '04, have resently expirenced that that radio stops (musik and display) and the display in the RTI-screen gets black, and after a fem seconds the screen slides down.

Sometimes it last at few seconds, other times a coupe of minutes. In every case it starts again, if the engine has been turned of in a couple of minutes.

Has anyone a idea what's wrong? Is it a cable, Connectors or ..?

Any loose connection on the fiber optic leads between the components will cause this. On XC90 the left front seat has the VAN/RTI dvd reader and it is easy for an umbrella or other item to slip under there and you can pull the lead out fetching the item. look there first.
