MY CD player is scratching my CD's. I want to replace the unit but while I found many units that will fit, none will tie into the Dolby Surround Sound unless i spend $$$$.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Despite some negative responses I like the sound of my Volvo

SC-900/901's are the only OEM Volvo options that support Dolby.
The downside is that the changers do seem to develop "issues"...
Alpine had a pretty strange idea when they came up with that
funky indash changer idea. The earlier 900's seem to be the worst.
I solved CD changer problems I was having with my original 900
with the purchase of a factory refurbished 901. That was about
6 years ago and it's still functioning perfectly. Contact a dealer
or go direct to the factory for info on the refurb program:
