rough idle, loss power...help ID a part

rough idle, loss power...help ID a part

My 2004 XC90 T6 has been idling rough after it gets warmed up. If I turn the AC fan off, it helps. I though maybe it was my ETM, so I was going to try and locate it and clean it. In doing so, I found a part that was broken and I need to know what it is so I can replace it. I am hoping this will fix the problem with the Idling.

Description of part:

Has a 2 wire harness at the top, 3 hoses at the bottom. Part snaps apart and has a diaphragm and a spring inside. This unit sits to the left and rear of the air filter housing.

I have currently "duct taped" this part back together and the idle seems to be doing better. I belief this part has something to do with a temp control or something.

Looks like the Egr control valve.
