Radio Fit Difrent 850 Modle Yrs

Can anyone enlighten me as to whether a later year 850 radio will work in an earlier model? I have a 94 and saw a great deal on what is claimed to be a 98 radio on e-bay. It looks essentially the same - though I am a little wary...

If it's from another 850 or S70, V70 (up to 2000) it will fit any year. Make sure you get the radio code too when purchasing, that is important.

If it looks like the 94's radio, its probably not a 98 model.
