my car won't somtiems

My car wont start somtimes even though the battery is good. It won't even crank but all other electronics work but if i leave it for a little the cars will than start. do you all have any idea

What is the year and model of your car? Have you checked the battery terminals to make sure they are clean and tight?

the terminals are good and the car has power but wont start

also this problem happend after i tried restting the service light but my car is 1995 volvo s850 glt

i have 95 wagon turbo and have that same problem once awhile. Throw it in Nuetral and try to start it. I checked the dealer and they think its the shifter.

Agreed, sounds like a problem w/ the PNP switch. Another thing to do with the car off and the key in position II is to "ratchet" the shifter through all the gears about 10 times. This helps clean the electrical contacts.
