Just purchased my 1st Volvo, a 2000 S80 only 125K miles.
I was in the garage working at my workbench, and I heard the blower kick on. The car had been shut off for over an hour and the keys were removed from the ignition. All the speeds on the blower seem to work fine (I am familiar with resistor issues from other vehicles I've owned), and not sure what would cause this. This car is really clean for its age and I have only had it for 4 days! Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Interior Blower Runs While Car Is Off S80 (2000)

It's OK. Don't give so much attention to that. Mine is running too.
Other thought: 50 minutes after shutting down the engine, if te ECC i left to auto the fan for the interior starts working on it's max speed for aprox 7 minutes. That's OK, too. The reason is that this way the pipes dries out preventing the system from microogranismus and the bad smell, you know.
GOOD LUCK"
