240 DL Wagon Turns Off Topic is solved

I have a 1990 240 DL Wagon that just turns off sometimes. It is unpredictable and erratic. The one consistent thing is that I have to be going under 35mph for it to happen. There is no sputtering or stalling, it simply turns off. The only way I know what's happening is that all the lights on the dash come on and there is no power. I pull over or put it in park, turn it off, turn it back on, and it's running fine again. I have had all my vaccums checked, my MAF sensor and speed sensor replaced, my timing belts and water pump, and a tune up. No one can seem to pinpoint this problem since it is impossible to cause it to happen and it's not putting a code into the computer. Help me please!

Hi Nell, I see no one responded to your question. That's a drag. I'm having the same problem with my '89 240 exactly as you decribe. Did you ever find out what was wrong?
