Seat belt requires changing how?

Hello, I have a Volvo S40 T4, there is a design fault on the seat belt housing which causes the seat belt to fray, I now need to replace it as I have MOT due very soon and it will fail, I need to change it but how with out setting off the gas chraged cylinders for the SIPS system, anyone help.
I have a Volvo S40 T4 SE
