I have a 2000 S40 1.9T with an oil leak from the cam seal inside the cam sensor housing. Can I replace the seal by simply taking the cam sensor housing and cam sensor ring off the cam and pulling the seal out or do I need to remove the valve cover to get to it? I am trying to avoid pulling the timing belt since it and the front seals were done by the previous owner not long ago.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
