So my '96 850 turbo wagon has a problem.
when it starts it then cuts out. when I turn the key to position II the fuel pump hums for less than a second. I think it should go for more like 2 or 3.
when the fuel system is charged and i hit the schrader valve on the end of the fuel rail hardly anything comes out.
would any of you think this is just the filter or does it sound like the pump?
I thought maybe the relay but I do hear the pump so I think the relay is ok.
Could it be an intermittent fuel relay failure?
any clues ???
