P1132 code

Post by Ralph3 »

According to my OBD II reader the P1132 code is a bad O2 sensor. I purchased a o2 sensor, installed it and ran for several months with no check engine. Several months ago I got a check engine, called the supplier of the o2 sensor and he said the sensor was not bad, I have a vacuum leak on the passenger side of the engine giving that code. I replaced the vacuum hose from the center of the intake manifold over to the drivers side of the engine. Drove the car two days and the OBD II reader said theer was not codes. Several days latter a check engine appeared and the P1132 code was present. Do I have a vacuum leak or a bad o2 sensor? I cannnot see any vacuum hoses on the passenger side of the engine unless I remove the intake manifold. Is this the next step or should I get another o2 sensor?
