Hi, I have a 2002 s80 t6 with 199,000 miles on it. the engine developed an oil leak and I was wondering if I can use a stop leak product like Lucas oil stop leak temporarily with out damaging the engine. Any advice you can give is appreciated.
Thanks

Can you use it? Sure!
Is it a good idea, I would say no.
Find the source of the leak. Usually the PCV system gets clogged and the oil either leaks from the PCV tank (under inlet manifold) or the resulting PCV pressure causes oil to leak from other spots such as cam seals, crank seal etc etc. With the engine warm, pull the dipstick out at idle. If you can see smoke coming from there, or it inflates a rubber glove you need to do a PCV service otherwise the leaks will never stop no matter what you put in there.
