Hey guys my 98 S70 T5 developed a leak from the engine side crimp of the oil feed hose so I ended up replacing both the oil feed and oil return hoses with new Dorman items from RockAuto.com.
Fast forward a couple of leak-free weeks and I find tonight the familiar engine oil leaks under the car... I jack it up and find oil is leaking from the new hoses! More specifically from both the engine and radiator end crimps of the oil feed hose and the engine crimp side of the oil return hose! The amount of oil leaking is actually less than the first time but the number of places the oil is leaking from is now increased!
What gives?? Could it simply be an unlucky case of both new hoses being faulty or is there something more sinister at play? When I had the oil thermostat block off it appeared to be opening and closing fine (ie it was closed when it was off the car and cooled down). Are there any other symptoms of increased oil pressure? Is this a common issue perhaps?
Thanks!
Oil leak from brand new oil cooler hoses. WTF?

Dorman is Chinese stuff, the answer is right there.
You could have rebuilt your cooler hoses using angle grinder (to cut the crimp off), then use generic hose + Oetiker clamps.
Below is a thread on ATF cooler hose rebuild for $10, scroll down to see it:

What he said - cheap Chinese parts are a PITA.
Rebuilding your own lines has been posted about extensively here, here is a very nice and thorough DIY from last year:

Or you can pay someone to rebuild them and still get much higher quality than Dorman for less, this guy is very good:
