Losing Oil - NOT Stupid
I posted same question on this sight a month ago and not one person knows the answer. I must be normal for the 2.9L to lose oil for no good reason.

I've stumbled across this forum and thought I ask you if you've gotten this fixed?
If you haven't, then have you been flagged down by people driving behind you in the oil "cloud" that you're leaving? Two quarts/1000 miles is substantial. And I'm assuming that it's being "combusted" since you're not seeing any puddles beneath the car.
Answer if you've gotten it fixed (or if you found that "lowlife" that draining off your oil to put in his 1971 pickup).
