No Light on OBD

I have a check engine light on. The OBD doesnt respond to give any codes. When you turn on the key with the plug in #2 I get only a VERY dim glow. There are no flashes.

I also have a strange idle issue. The car idles at about 900 on a cold start. as it warms up the idle rises to around 1250 - 1350rpm. So at normal operatng temp the "idle" is constantly pushing the car when in gear.

Probably unrelated, but I also have an issue with the drivers power seat. When I bought the car for some reason there was no control module for the drivers seat. So I bought one and installed it. Still no poer seat movement. The connector under the front of the seat has power so there is power to the unit. Does the model have to marry the modulr to the master computer?

No one has seen the OBD not function? What do I do to fix or replace? I need to do a seat calibration. It appears that the calibration is done with the OBD. Its called a DTM4??

Finally!!! A simple solution!! My OBD is fully functional. The switch had corroded contacts. I cleaned them up and all is well.
