2004 volvo xc90 ignition key switch???

hello out there in volvo land i have a xc90 2004 volvo runs great however i detailed the truck after hours of making her like new went to start and switch idnt want to engage all the way only goes up to position number one....no spring action at all int key switch being mechanic savy i thought maybe it was the electrical ignition switch that got jammmed but i took it all apart and noticed switch still doesnt go pass that first position ...i think my key switch is done...anybody know how to get that switch out easyily so far looks lke im going to have to drill in there and theres really no space..and any info out there on cost from this switch...i sure hope someone out there can shed somelight on this one for me thank you..
