xc90 loss of power...please help

hi everybody i have 2005 xc90 5cyl gas turbo that i recently purchase at auction...when i purchased it pvc oil trop needed service really bad..burning oil like crazy...i changed oil trap and hose assmbly cleaned everything smokes went away..did have check engine light code was below threshold possible 02 sensor or cat..i reset cause it was smoking prior too see if was a false code etc ..check eng light to this date has not come back on..one day in a rush getting to work late i was driving it..all of the sudden i heard what sounded like a misfire...loss total accerlation for abt 30 seconds...let go of gas pressed on accerlator very easy and almost back to normal to realize latter in the day that hose that goes to the throtle body or i think its called etm cam off..i put it back since then it has its days of running with loss of power..i seafoamed..ichanged air and gas filter..i also changed oil again..no change..although after seafoam cleaning thru intake it ran alot better for the day...also what i did notice that in reverse its really hard to up my steep drive way it will stumble and turn off and idle will fluctuate alot..im abt ready to take off etm to clean...but maybe a clogged cat? any info guys i would appreciate it...and by the way this truck has 200k miles...please help

Since the car was smoking a lot when you bought it, I would clean all intake hoses. In addition I would clean the etm with volvo etm cleaner. I would also clean the maf sensor and clear any codes.

thank u for helpin me out on this one...im abt ready to start takin her apart and clean the etm in going to order new gasket for etm and i know that i can get it off from underneath but i think im going to pull off complete intake again...i did change out complete pvc hose and oil trap but when it started to loss power i hear a hissing sound and cant seem to find the leak if any...but i think the etm cleaning might be well over do...i will keeep u guys posted and any other info i gladly appreciate it thank god im a little mechaniclly inclined if not the volvo dealer would get me..
