TD04L-14T onto B4202T2 engine?

Ok guys, I've read some threads about this turbo swap, but for the life of me I cant find them anywhere. (feel welcome to post any links up)
Anyway, the standard TD04L-12T turbo on my B4204T2 engine is seized solid. I've seen a cheapish second hand turbo but its a TD04L-14T from a T4. I know these turbos bolt up no dramas, but how will they go on the engine? If I leave all the factory boost control in place will it throw any extra boost into the engine? I'd rather have long term reliability over extra boost performance, so bear that i mind with the responses.
