Aux heater - on/off?
Aux heater - on/off?
Is there anyone out there that has successfully implemented an on/off-switch for the aux heater. I have a C30 D5 and as the heater can not be switched off through software, there is a major risk of clogging the heater when driving short distances (not allowing the heater tofully burn the chamber clean). I was thinking that one should be able to implement an on/off-switch to prevent the heater to start but I dont know how this can be done. Any ideas or experience on this topic anyone?
