1999 Volvo s80 Indentifying electrical problems

Hi Fellows,

I often make longs trips on my beloved s80, but I wonder sometimes though I closing look to the mechanical things not to have any problem on long routes but what if any Sensor failed middle in the Deseret...are there any symptoms to know before going on trip that xyz sensor or something else (Electrical) can fail on the way. By the way I always travel with no codes on my dashboard except Service.
