i recently bought a 2002 volvo v40 1.9 diesel (6 months ago) it was at the time just in need of a new egr valve this was replaced within a matter of a couple of weeks still no problems 2 weeks ago i went on a 100 mile trip. On my journey i had a slight minute of no power lasted for all of a few seconds and then fine no problem. 1 week later normal driving (kids to school and back) but no i have no power like my turbo isnt working but i repaired the turbo about a week after purchasing the car as it was leaking oil but this never affected it running i have replaced the boost control solonoid and all the pipes and other bits like that but still no power a friend told me about the diesel particulate filter so i replaced that i have also just replaced the fuel pressure regulator (the one on the pump) and it has also just had a complete service + diagnostic check (didnt pick anything up as per) i am just wondering has any body encountered this before or could anybody shed any light on what my problem could be thanks
