Yes. There is only the one tank and when there is a rear washer system they add a second pump onto the same tank. THe pump is direct mounted with inlet of pump stuck through a rubber grommet into tank.

I'm in the process of tracking down a line blockage in my rear window washer. At least for the 2.4i, fluid tube is routed across the front of the radiator and back above the right front wheel shield. There is a coupler there to allow for the right-side fluid reservoir placement in the diesels. It then makes a 90 deg. turn through the bulkhead and... I haven't seen it in the passenger footwell area.
I assume it rises up the right "A" pillar, but I haven't tracked that part of the run yet.
It shows up in a ridged rubber tube coming back above the headliner. Ends at one of the Volvo check valves, and then to the tailgate and the nozzle itself.
More to come.

Found the block! I slid a wire in from the check valve, and it stopped when it got to the front door. I loosened things up to look above the headliner, and the tube was absolutely pinched at the pasenger "Oh God!" handle. Since it was fastened with a non-OEM mach screw, SOMEone wasn't careful on re-assembly. I routed the tube inboard of the side curtain. Fingers crossed that it won't interfere. I didn't test it
