Ok, If you've been following my first (previous) Post then you know what's going on, if you can find it or don't want to bother searching here's the run down. Took my car for brake and suspension work, battery went dead over the weekend, they boosted it and now it won't start. I checked for spark, No Spark, Fuel Pressure is OK, No Power at Fuel Injector Connectors. Tried to get codes from Diag Box-A Socket#2 and Not Flashing Codes,Just a Dim Red Light. When i press the black button the light gets brighter but Still Not Flashing Any Codes. Check Engine Light Does Not Come On When Key is in On Position. I thought about the Cam Sensor which seems to be a common problem on these car when you have a No-Sprak condition but will the cause a No Check Engine Light? Will a Cam Sensor Cause No-Flashing at Diag Box-A? I don't think so, So Where Do i Go From Here? Here's My List:
1. Spark Test - No Spark
2. Fuel Pressure - O.K.
3. Power at Fuel Injector Connectors(key on) - No Power
4. Power at Fuel Injector Harness - No Power
5. ECU #1 Fuse - OK
6. Codes Flash at Diag Box-A - Not Flashing
7. Battery Power - OK
8. Check Engine Light at Key On - No Check Engine Light.
Please Someone Help.

A bad CPS will usually not throw a code. Should not affect the diagnostics box.
What about the fuel injector relay under the fan shroud, did you check that out?
When was the last time it ran? Are you saying they tried to jump it but couldn't get it started, or they jumped it and it ran, but later on it wouldn't start?

It was running great, drove it there on a friday for brake and suspension work and left it there over the weekend. They tried to start it Monday but the battery was dead, so they put a battery charger on it and tried to start it (at least that's what i'm being told) and they can't get it to start. Yes i checked that relay under the fan shroud (i repaired a wire on it last year) and checked the connector and wires, all is ok. As far as i know it hasn't started since they drove it into the shop and started work on it. I thought of the Cam Sensor But that Won't Cause the Engine Light to not come on when the key is in the on position nor will it cause the Diagnostic Box-A to not flash codes.

If they hooked up jumper cables backwards, even for a few seconds, then they fried one or more of the three J relays at the fuse box and it will not start until they are all working. I know one of them will cut out fuel, I'm not sure where though (injectors vs fuel pump). We just went through this with one of our 850's, new J relays got it going but eventually it needed a new voltage regulator, too.
It's a bit of a longshot but if I was in your shoes I would definitely check them, they are easy to check with a little 12V power source, like 8 AA batteries bundled together in a battery holder (Radio Shack). The relays should click, I don't remember which terminals you use but you can look it up pretty easily, or just try all combinations if you are using the little battery bundle. At least then you can cross them off the list.

If I am reading the wiring schematic correctly, the overload relay (j relay) in the central electrical unit, supplies power to the CEL and the DI power stage of the coil.

Can you please tell me where this relay is located? I know how to check relays, thanks.

Under the fuse panel, tried to describe it in my post. Do you know where the fuel pump relay and cruise relay are? Same place. I'll see if I can find a pic.
Here ya go, three J relays, I would just check them all:

Hi Thanks a lot, i will check these out, i dount it's #2(red-fuelpump) relay because i do have fuel pressure, so it might be #4,5 or 6 overload relays (i've been doing some reading). Will the overload relays cause a No Check Engine Light?

Right, sounds like the fuel pump relay is fine, I was just using that to tell you where the J relays are.gizmaster_1 wrote:Hi Thanks a lot, i will check these out, i dount it's #2(red-fuelpump) relay because i do have fuel pressure, so it might be #4,5 or 6 overload relays (i've been doing some reading). As Rbaratt pointed out, one of the J relays runs the CEL, so that would make sense. When my car had two of those relays fried, the CEL still came on with the key. But sometimes all three of them go out when the cables are hooked up backwards, sometimes only one.
If the J relays (or even just one of them) are indeed cooked, then it is almost certainly because the shop screwed up with the battery charging. And didn't tell you. They may owe you an alternator too. Ok, putting the cart before the horse now ...

If the car wasn't running when the sensor stopped, and you lost battery power, you won't have the code in the system.
I would test or replace the cam and crank sensor.
