2000 V70 CEL P0013 Delayed Start

Post by secondstageturbine »

Good afternoon everyone,

I bought this 2000 V70 with 88000 miles from an old couple about a month ago for like 3K. Its been driving great and had a good smog with no CEL. About a week ago the CEL came on and I took it to the auto hobby shop on base to diagnose the codes. I got a P0013 and a P0045. I looked them up and cleared the codes, also bought a new gas cap. When starting, I have to hold the key down a little longer to get it to start. I drove back and the car sat over the weekend while I painted the hood. When I started it today the CEL came back on. So now I've been combing over the forums and google trying to figure out how to deal with this. Should I buy a new cam sensor? Or could it be the valve reset solenoid, I'm really confused and I don't even know what the parts look like. For this year and model, is the cam sensor the one in the circular housing below the engine mount or another one, any help is appreciated.
