98 S70 N/A Flex Fitting on Exhaust

My thanks to jreed and a vac line post referring to a site. This site also has flex fittings available:

What do you folks think? Could one of these be used to replace a failed flex fitting on an N/A exhaust manifold? Could a decent muffler shop use one of these to replace the failed part or does the manifold still need to come out? Which size do you think would be most appropriate?

The exhaust manifold need to come off in order to take the old flex pipe out and weld in a new one.

I changed mine about 3 years ago...there is a thread about it here.Here it is:

Flexi pipe you need will look like this:

You will need new exhaust gaskets(there are 5 of them).

I am holding on to my '97 850 N/A exhaust manifold to repair Flex fitting.
The bracket to heat shield is rusted away too.
