1998 v70 Indicator Plug wires

hi guys need someone across the water in America to check how many wires are in the indicator bulb holder as ours in the uk have 2 but three wires just wondering how many yours have

I think that he is talking about position light's connector near the headlight.

thats on an 850 but yeah there are 3 wires in the plug how many pins in the indicator plug as the 850 in state side had a white light above the indicator and i was wondering if the v70 state side had something similar

i an working on getting a set of switchback led's for the indicators and if the isa plug for the bulb holder has 3 pins i could get some shipped from states to the uk for easier wiring

The car in the video is a S70. I can verify this today, I plan to go to the salvage yard there there are several of both cars.

Andy, Look at page 81 of the 1999 wiring diagram, locate item 10/10 and that shows it with all three pins in use, the wiring fitted to our UK cars will drive the light BUT we need to measure if the side light wire is at +12V when the side lights are on.

From the data in the wiring diagram it would appear the bulb holder is indeed three pin so US Spec indicator/ turn light bulb holders for the front are what is needed - Mike

Every 850 and S70 I checked today had 3 wires going to that corner marker light.
