98 v70 AWD License Plate Bulb Not Working

Hey guys,

My left license plate bulb is out so I replaced the bulb with a working one and it still wont work, even after wiggling it (it seems to be pretty loosely fit in the socket). Is there a write up or something that will help me out to replace the socket or does anyone know a way to fix this? I searched the topic but all I could find is people tapping the bulb plate and that fixing their problem.

I would check to make sure the wires going to it are not broken and exposed going into it. Also check the contacts in the bulb holder itself.
