can anybody give me an idea of how robust and the reliability of these cars? ive had a 98 c70 and 99 v70, so i was wondering if there were anything other than normal volvo issues.

Based on truedelta.com, the 2005 was less reliable than the 2006 V50. It was a first model year.

That statement basically applies to all models of vehicles and of any manufacturer.
