What started like transmission problem, turns out to be something else. The dealer couldn't find anything wrong with it, it has been sitting for a week, waiting on valve body replacement Forum Link:
Then the other day decided to move it out of the way for my 780, and I did let it run for a while- it died after 5 minutes- never happened before. Restarted and was watching the Tach- the dome lights are flickering, idle is very unstable, ( Xemodex TB installed 1 year ago) when I push the gas pedal- it will go up to 4000 rpm and that will be it, it will loose power and will not continue. It will run at higher Rpms, but without much power, Recent CEL was P1171, which was cleaned just before the suspected Transmission problem begun, MAF Sensor was cleaned a year ago, but something tells me the MAF is the source of all this, since the P1171 has been coming of and on ever since that
And now the strange thing is that there is not a CEL present- I last reset it with ELM 327,
Any Ideas?
Regards,
Alex

Replaced the MAF sensor with BOSCH original (was 0280218045, I got 0280218108 from FCP), changed the radiator ( it had a hair line crack under top hose) after I put everything together, was short some coolant, so took it out for a half a mile ride, not faster than 35 MPH, at one point heard something like an explosion from the engine compartment- the car stalled for a second, but then kept going.
After I got out from the store, car started and died,,,,3 times...., opened the hood, and saw where the sound came from- the charged air hose from turbo to intercooler- I guess I didn't tightened enough- snapped and that was the explosion like sound.
Got home and it seams like nothing has changed, hooked up Vida and it came up with ECM-6806 turbocharger(TC) control system flow fault, at the same time got ecm-280A front heated oxygen sensor bank 1 - Signal too high, I did reset the codes ones more with Vida, but the symptoms are still there- I am thinking the O2 sensor is ok, it is just the mixture triggering it, will look for TC control valve and hoses (silicone as of right now)
Any Ideas or advice?
Thanks,
Alex
