I am working on a 1998 850 T5 for a friend and basically the car won't stay running. I found the fuel pump relay and if I manually actuated the latch in the relay the fuel pump would run and the car would run with no problems. This looks to me like a grounding issue but I am unsure.
From what I have been reading I am curious if either the crank position sensor or the immobilizer unit could cause this issue?
I have seen quite a few posts regarding this same issue and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
Thank you very much!
