2004 V70R Can turbo pressure sensor result engine stop?

Post by fisher hsiung »

These days I found my 04 V70 R was very lazy, no power during 0-2000rpm. I pushed throttle pedals to the floor to reached 4000rpm then i can feel the normal, only normal power, not the turbocharge feeling. Yesterday the check engine light came out. I read the code - P0234, turbo overboost. My machinist told me the problem is turbo pressure sensor. He cleared the code for me and not change the sensor, the power back. But just one day later, I started the car and the car begun shaking and unstable idle speed. But it disappear when I drove it normally. Just 30 min later I stop for signal light, the engine unexpected stop. After I restart it, the engine work normally and still powerless. So I wonder the turbo could result these. For past few months, I've changed ignition coils, fuel pressure sensor, timing belt, and huge of parts.
