I've searched and come up empty. Is there a step-by-step guide for throttle body removal in order to replace the TPS?
Thanks!

It is a pretty easy task. You will need to have a new throttle body gasket on hand but remove the throttle linkage from the throttle body. It is a ball and socket junction and you just pull it away from the ball to release it. From there unplug the TPS connector and remove the throttle body. The TPS is held on with two small screws. Remove the screws and replace the sensor. The sensor is keyed so it is hard to mess it up.
Clean up the old gasket from both the throttle body and the intake manifold and use your new gasket when re-installing it.

The following guide should help you:
http://volvospeed.com/volvo_repairs_how ... n_egr.html
Once done, make sure you adjust the throttle cable properly.
There should be a very slight slack on the cable.

Maybe you want to take this opportunity to clean the throttle body up real well (often a needed service item), but keep in mind you can just remove the TPS with the throttle body on the car. The whole job will take maybe 20 minutes.
Remove those 2 bolts (like 7 mm head), remove TPS, replace.
