Thread to document differences between the later P80 cars and the 1998 earlier cars
Great thread overview on EVAP components here
https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 06#p325806
Most of the components are the same, but locations on the later cars are different
on my 1999
EVAP canister - just forward of right rear wheel
Rollover valve - just forward of EVAP
Purge valve - under air intake - clipped to radiator, left side, up high
Canister shutoff valve - I haven't found it yet!
Purge line for shutoff runs forward and goes under engine, near harmonic balancer then I lose sight of it.
On edit - this line is actually the fuel line. ME7 cars only have one EVAP line running to front.

Ahhh..the moron makes progress
It looks like the ME7 cars move all the EVAP stuff, except the purge valve, back in front of the Right rear wheel
The canister, Purge shutoff valve, and rollover valve all live attached to the same housing. I have a P0455 code and am trying to find
The canister shutoff valve looks like it now draws air from up near the filler neck - the hose goes way up to the filler neck area at least

Just to close loop on this.
The purge line I so diligently tracked above is in fact the fuel line. DOH!!
Only one line for EVAP goes forward on the ME7 cars...to the canister purge valve near the radiator
I also found the other thread which I will merge to shortly
