1994 Volvo 850 Turbo Transmission Flush Hose Size

I want to flush my tranny soon to the discoloration and new owner of a used volvo 850 w/over 230k. IPD sells the tranny flush kit for $24.95 but they are on the west coast and don't feel like waiting. Now that hose from the kit can be purchased @ any home depot, i just need to know the size. The washer and clip and O ring i can pick up locally from fcpeuro. Any know the a good size to use ?

I found the size by doing some research. You can use a 1/2 hose to perform your flush on any p80. 1/2" ID 5-6' clear plastic line connected to transmission fluid line coming from the transmission. It should be clear so you will be able to see the fluid running through the line.

You might get a lot of feedback here telling you never to flush this vintage Volvo auto transmission

Many here recommend you do a series of drain and refills to replenish trans fluid.

Perhaps research this a but by search function.
