Hello guys. Have read through all the related posts they all seem to talk about cars with automatic transmission. Mine is a manual.
I parked it outside under the sun (summertime, hot temperature), locked the car with the remote and went to work. The alarm came on in about 2 minutes. Switched it off with the remote. It happened 2 more times before I realized that I left the windows open. I decided to move the car to the shade... but the car didn't start. As this was not the first time it happened I tried the previously successful solutions: left it for a few hours, disconnected the batteries, tried to push the car around... but nothing worked.
I investigated further and came to the conclusion that there's no petrol getting into the engine, even though there's plenty in the tank. Most likely there's no electrical current in the petrol pump. Is this also something to do with the immobilizer or the ignition lock itself?
If it's the immobilizer, how can I disconnect it?
I had to leave the car and use public transport home (2.5hours...)

I'm not sure about the immobilizer, but I don't think it works by simply disabling the fuel pump. I could be wrong though.
When you turn the key to ON, before starting, did you listen for the pump? I should come on for a few seconds each time to get the fuel system up to pressure.
