2005 XC90 2.5T: Thermostat question

In my other cars (1998 S70, Honda etc.), I usually replace the tstat around 80K because by that time, the prong either breaks or the wax pellet getting bad, so the tstat may be open or closed all the time.

For the 2005 XC90 2.5T, when do you guys replace the tstat housing combo?

I am pretty sure from the patina that my 210K mile 2004 has the original t-stat.
