1999 V70 XC Ignition and door lock failure

I have a 95 850 turbo wagon. I was hoping i could take the door locks and ignition out of that car, and put them into my 99 V70 xc awd wagon. Can you just disconnect the chip feature or swap that part out of the 850 into the v70? Everything works well in the 850 i just totaled it and bought this v70 used< the ignition and door lock is worn severely!

Please punctuate posts per MVS terms of use.

The 1999 on door lock system is quite different than the earlier versions with the driver door lock acting as a master control.

You have to order a new ignition from Volvo...keyed to your car it takes about 10 days.
Unfortunately in a 99 it too must be mated too the car at the dealer

Punctuated better. Sorry for the inconvenience. And thank you for you help, I figured it was a lost cause, i was hoping not to spend a great deal of money at the dealer.
