2003 XC70 Common SRS issue & Vida Dice Tool

so i've been reading on here about others having issues w/ their SRS Airbag Service Urgent message. well it seems like my wife's '03 XC70 is having the same issue. now i was researching those Vida Dice readers & i've seen them on ebay for $115, but i noticed that they only seem to operate on Windows 7 OS. i currently have Windows 8, so will it not work on this platform?

Easiest thing is download the VMWare image linked on this site (https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... hp?t=55027). This runs VIDA inside a 'virtual' computer environment, so it doesn't matter what your computer setup is!
