1998 V70 AWD Missing unidentified connector

Post by jadnhm »

Hello all, need some help.

I have 1998 V70 AWD with the weird saddle tank that has fuel lines running all over the top of it. I had a leak up there, and dropped the whole setup to fix the leak.

Putting everything back up to the car I found I'm missing one of the electrical lines that runs through the panel in the floor of the hatch/wayback.

It is a small 2-pin grey connector. The harness side has BL/W (blue with white stripe) and BL/R (blue with red stripe) wires. I cannot for the life of me find the line that's supposed to hook back up here.

If I knew what component it went to on the other end I could try finding that and tracing my way back...

I have all the other connectors:
- yellow 4-pin for the ABS sensors
- grey 3-pin for the tank pressure sensor
- red sheathed line for fuel pump assembly with power for fuel pump and two sets of sending unit lines

I can't find this in the wiring diagrams at all. I cannot see the connector.

Anyone who knows what this line is and how I might find it will really give me a big boost.

Thanks.
