2004 XC70 Fault code 124 showing intermittent

Post by Martin Findlow »

Hi I have a Volvo XC 70 2004. An intermittent fault code keeps showing over 25mph. I am told it could be a faulty rear brake sensor.

Any suggestions help etc would be welcome.

Regards
Martin

Who is measuring the code for you?

An OBD code has format P1234, but fault 0124 is a throttle position sensor fault. If you are reading a manufacturers code via a Volvo dealer that might explain it.

Any other problems or driving complaints?
