2001 s40 blowing smoke

This is a follow up to another post
2001 s40 100k
when I bought car it was smoking terribly. I got the car for almost nothing. Replaced the oil trap and the smoke reduced dramatically but I still have a bit of smoke. It smells very very rich with a touch of oil if that makes sense.
could the clogged oil trap have created back pressure and blow some seals, turbo etc
Car runs a smooth as can be. No engine lights. No overheating at all. Runs very smooth no hickups knocks etc.
Will check compression. How do you tell if the turbo seals are gone? Is there a test? Is there something I may be missing?
