1997 850 T-5 - General Questions and saying hi

Hey guys, just bought an 850 T-5 and I was just looking for general tips and tricks for maintaining it. If there is anything specific about this car or what not. Also, popping in to say hi since I just made an account and I wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome to the forum. I'm not a T5 owner, but there are plenty here who will be certain to respond. In the mean time it would help to know how many miles are on the car and if you got any maintenance records with it.

Welcome Nielmar! This weekend, check the condition of your PCV system (crankcase vent) by taking off the oil cap at idle and putting a plastic glove over the oil inlet. It should not inflate, but just lay limp. If you have a lot of crankcase pressure , fixing it early can save you a lot of money

Unless you know for sure, change the timing belt.
