After about 15 sec of the car starting im getting a CEL and I had it checked and its showing to be a TPS issue... basically, do I need to just get another one ? The car is running and idling fine...

You can try cleaning up the plug and contacts, but those sensors get finicky with old age and you may notice the transmission shifting weird now.

thanks Blackburn... I guess ill try cleaning the contacts and see what happens. So far the trans is shifting normal.
