2005 S40 Limp Mode Fan not working now

I need some advice please on a Volvo S40.

My Volvo S40: it is reg HY06 KBE
39 400 miles on the clock
Serviced every year at a main dealer.

Problem: Suddenly went into Limp Mode two weeks ago.

I have taken the car to Protyre they have completed a full service on it.

The only problem is that the fan is NOT working now so the engine can potentially overheat. Car is running fine other than that.

Protyre advised two fault codes P138B and P242F did show up at some point in the service
