2006 XC90 Low Beam Failure

Wife's car had the HID headlights and we replaced the bulb, then we got the message again. I checked the 20A fuse and it was blown, replaced it instantly blew again. Any ideas I have exhausted Google!

If the fuse is blowing instantly, chances are it has a bad ballast (silver box under the headlight). Try changing ballast from the other headlight. Ballasts are available from many vendors for about $100.00 (US).
